Diese Definition stellt die Abhängigkeit des Unternehmens von seinen Stakeholder noch einmal besonders heraus. Ohne Mitarbeiter, Kapitalgeber, Käufer und Medien, kann kein Unternehmen auf lange Sicht existieren.
Ich stimme Daria zu, dass diese Definition die Abhängigkeit des Unternehmens von den Stakeholdern hervorhebt. Nichtsdestotrotz wird meiner Meinung nach nicht ausreichend darauf eingegangen, wer denn genau diese Gruppen sind.
Ich kann mich hier Lisa nur anschließen – meiner Meinung wird hier rein auf die Abhängigkeit des Unternehmens eingegangen, aber nicht auf Schlüsselbegriffe geachtet.
Meiner Meinung nach erklärt diese Definition die Abhängigkeit eines Unternehmens von seinen Stakeholdern ganz gut. Jedoch gibt es sicherlich ausführlichere Definitionen, die etwa die einzelnen Stakeholder miteinbeziehen, beziehungsweise erklären warum die einzelnen Stakeholder für Unternehmen wichtig sind.
Für mich ist diese Definition auch zu kurz, da eine Erklärung fehlt, warum diese Stakeholder für die Existenz eines Unternehmens notwendig sind. Wer mit der Thematik vertraut ist, versteht diese Definition problemlos, jedoch finde ich sie nicht so gut für Laien geeignet.
Diese Definition eines Stakeholders finde ich unvollständig, da Stakeholder sehr wohl auch für das Scheitern eines Unternehmens verantwortlich sein können.
Kurz und präzise beschreibt diese Definition, wie wichtig Stakeholder für Unternehmen und deren Existenz ist. Dazu gehört für mich auch, dass Stakeholder zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt auch negativen Einfluss haben können. Nichts desto trotz sind Stakeholder für das Funktionieren von Unternehmen eine Grundvoraussetzung.
Ich persönlich sehe dieser Definition zwiespältig entgegen, weil hier der Terminus “support” verwendet wurde, welche die Unterstützung alleine umfasst. Es gibt sicherlich viele Stakeholder-Gruppen (z.B. Fiskus, Gegner des Unternehmens), welche zwar vielleicht indirekt auf die Optimierungen der Prozesse im Unternehmen aufmerksam machen, in erster Linie jedoch sicherlich nicht ausschließlich unterstützend tätig sind.
Diese Definition ist meiner Meinung nach sehr einseitig gehalten. Wie von Kristina auch schon erwähnt hat, könnten Stakeholder auch im negativen Sinne zu (Miss)-Erfolgen beitragen. Mit dem Wort support hört es sich so an als würden alle Stakeholder hinter einem Unternehmen stehen.
Obwohl diese Definition sehr kurz und oberflächlich ist, wird darin die Legitimierungsthematik des Unternehmens erfasst, also die “license to operate”, die das Unternehmen in den Augen der Öffentlichkeit haben muss. Allerdings wird nicht genau dargestellt, wo die Grenze zwischen Unternehmen und Umwelt verläuft und wer genau die Stakeholdergruppen nun sind.
In dieser Definition steht auch das Unternehmen im Zentrum und die Stakeholder sind nur jene Gruppen, die vom Unternehmen zur Profitmaximierung gebraucht werden. Es wird aber nicht berücksichtigt, dass auch das Unternehmen einen Einfluss auf bestimmte Gruppen von Menschen haben kann, die den Fortbestand des Unternehmens (auch indirekt) beeinflussen können.
Grundsätzlich ist die Unterstützung der Stakeholder für ein Unternehmen wichtig. Aber ich finde es kommt auch auf den Einfluss der jeweiligen Stakeholder an und daher müssen nicht alle Stakeholder ein Unternehmen gleichermaßen unterstützen bzw. Einfluss nehmen.
Diese Definition enthält zwar ein zentrales Charakteristikum von Stakeholdern, geht allerdings nicht näher auf die Wechselwirkungen zwischen Stakeholdern und Unternehmen ein.
Diese Definition ist meiner Meinung nach zu verallgemeinernd. Außerdem fehlen nähere Erläuterungen und Argumente.
Es wird hier stark darauf hingewiesen, dass ein Unternehmen auf seine Stakeholder angewiesen ist. Legitimität ist ein Existenzgrund für ein Unternehmen und deshalb finde ich diese Aussage angebracht.
Ich finde die Grundüberlegung nicht falsch, denn ohne die Stakeholder kann ein Unternehmen nicht überlegen. Aber es fehlt der Ansatz, dass das Unternehmen auch die Stakeholder beeinflusst.
Ich schließe mich der Überlegung von Marlene an, da die auf jeden Fall vorhandene wechselseitige Beeinflussung von Unternehmen und Bezugsgruppen nicht angesprochen wird.
Auf den ersten Blick erscheint die Definition des Stanford Research Institute passend. Stakeholder beeinflussen Unternehmen definitiv. Es wird jedoch außer Acht gelassen, dass Unternehmen auch Stakeholder beeinflussen, es damit keine einseitige, sondern eine wechselseitige Beziehung gibt. Zudem fehlt mir der Aspekt, dass Stakeholder Organisationen nicht nur positiv, sondern auch negativ beeinflussen können.
Für mich ist diese Definition passend allerdings nicht vollständig. Auch für mich fehlt der Ansatz, dass Unternehmen die Stakeholder beeinflussen und der Hinweis auf die Wechselbeziehung zwischen Organisation und Stakeholder.

Im weiteren Sinne und mit Grundwissen zum Thema “Stakeholder” ist die Definition verständlich und trifft auch zu. In einem “worst case scenario” kann und wird es durchaus so sein, dass ein Unternehmen nicht mehr existieren kann, wenn es keine Unterstützung der externen sowie internen Stakeholder mehr erfährt. Das würde schließlich bedeuten, dass (unter anderem) Lieferanten sowie Mitarbeiter ausfallen würden. Für meinen Geschmack ist die Definition allerdings etwas zu direkt formuliert und bedarf näherer Ausführung.
Für mich ist das schon viel zu konkret formuliert, da nur auf die Unterstützung bzw. ein einseitiges Abhängigkeitsverhältnis eingegangen wird. Außerdem gibt es Stakeholder die nicht nur positiv, sondern auch negativ auf das Unternehmen einwirken können z.B. Konkurrenten oder Anrainer, das wird meines Erachtens völlig ignoriert.
Eine sehr radikale, aber spannende Definition. Allerdings wirkt die Definition auf den ersten Blick sehr stark wirtschaftlich orientiert, hier fehlt mir der soziale Aspekt. Weiter können Stakeholder mit Unternehmen agieren, aber auch so die Existenz von Unternehmen beeinflussen, wenn sie unzufrieden mit diesen sind. Medien können auch Stakeholder von Unternehmen sein. Ist ihre Existenz allerdings hilfreich, wenn sie nur negativ übers Unternehmen berichten?
Stellt den Stakeholder als Verantwortlichen für Organisationen dar, ist etwas zu abstrakt gefasst, denn es lässt außer Acht, dass das Unternehmen Einfluss auf Stakeholder nimmt.
Eine spannende Definition, die Raum für Diskussionen bietet. Als Beschreibung in wirtschaftlich schwierigen Zeiten ganz passend. Trotzdem bedarf es noch an Erläuterungen darüber, dass die Stakeholderbeziehung eine wechselseitige ist, die sowohl positiv als auch negativ sei kann.
Ich denke, dass diese Definition zwar keine falschen Informationen enthält, allerdings auch das komplette Konzept von Stakeholder Management nicht fasst. Es ist zwar wahr, dass ein Unternehmen nicht ohne seine Anspruchsgruppen existieren könnte, doch hat auch das Unternehmen einen Effekt auf seine Stakeholder und diese sind von den Taten des Unternehmens betroffen.
Wie man an den Kommentaren bemerkt, ist diese Definition durchaus eine, welche Diskussionen anregt. Meinem Empfinden nach greift diese Definition allerdings etwas kurs, da sie nur in eine Richtung zielt. Der Austausch mit den Stakeholdern und die Beschreibung dieser wechselseitigen Beziehung kommt für mich hier zu kurz.
Diese Definition ist sehr vage formuliert. Hier kommen die Beschreibung der Stakeholder und die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten des Austauschs zu wenig heraus.
